Our investment process involves several steps, including an initial screening, due diligence, and negotiations. We work closely with entrepreneurs to understand their vision and help them develop a strong business plan.

We provide mentorship from experienced entrepreneurs and industry experts, as well as access to our network of investors, advisors, and partners. We also offer resources such as office space, legal and accounting services, and marketing support.

Black Horse carefully selects 2-3 promising teams per cycle to join their program.

The selection process includes:

  • Interviews (8 Weeks Before Cycle):
    Reviewing many applications and interviewing top candidates. Evaluating founders, ideas, knowledge and problems solved. Choosing best fits.
  • Selection Bootcamp (5 Weeks Before Cycle):
    Selecting 10 teams for a 5-day camp to develop ideas further and evaluate potential. Choosing founders who can succeed.
  • Selection Committee (4 Weeks Before Cycle):
    Presentations to partners, experts, entrepreneurs, mentors and investors. Evaluating comprehensively to select program teams.
  • CYCLE PROGRAM (16-Week Program)
    The 4-month cycle supports growth. Teams focus on models, prototypes, customers and resources. Unlimited support including mentors, experts, space and education.
  • COMPANY REGISTRATION (Within 4 weeks of the cycle beginning)
    Within 4 weeks, completing registration, signing contracts, incorporating legally and due diligence. Black Horse helps with standardized tailored documents. Teams can now operate fully incorporated.
  • Demo Day (The End of the Cycle)
    Demo Day showcases progress to VCs, angels, entrepreneurs, mentors and media after 3 hard months. Pitches demonstrate potential.
  • Grow (Post Demo Day)
    Funding assistance and network access continue after Demo Day, though not in office. Access to mentors, support, perks, workshops and benefits remain for remarkable businesses securing funding.

The investment process can take anywhere from a few weeks to several months, depending on the complexity of the deal and the readiness of the company.

We measure the success of our portfolio companies based on a range of factors, including revenue growth, market share, customer satisfaction, and overall impact on their industry. We also track key performance metrics and work closely with entrepreneurs to help them achieve their goals.
